Oh, how I love to travel! The anticipation of an upcoming trip is such a high! I am a planner and just thrive in finding the next place to see, where to eat, and what to see. My husband and I are not your typical American travelers where we want to do an all-inclusive resort somewhere or go on a tour of Italy. Now don’t get me wrong, we love to see the local attractions, but being able to experience the culture and everyday life, taking a slower approach to vacationing is our perfect trip.

We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us.” – Robyn Yong

Finding a beautiful or quaint AirBnB or hotel, being able to shop at the local market and cook some of our meals, scheduling in down time to just sleep in or take a nap, while still seeing a museum, eating at one of the best reviewed restaurants in the area or local mom and pop stop, the combination of these makes a perfect vacation.

Being able to see the world from different people’s perspectives provides such insight in my daily life. Having traveled to China, the Philippines, Turkey, South Africa, Europe, Central America and Canada, not to mention all over the US has given me such an advantage and global viewpoint on how to do life and live my life to the fullest, appreciating all that I have been given in this life.

I am beyond excited to share with you a glimpse of life when we travel to our next destination whenever that may be pending this quarantine!:)
